Sales Development Representative
Location: Manchester or Hybrid
Contracted hours: Monday - Friday 9am and 5:30pm. Flexibility available Total hours: 37.5 per week
Rate of pay: £25-40k OTE in the first year. Basic salary is negotiable dependent upon experience. In addition we offer exceptional development and progression opportunities.

We operate at the leading-edge of technology in Cybersecurity and are currently recruiting our next wave of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join a growing sales team and develop through our sales training academy.
This role is focused on lead generation and booking high-quality meetings, helping to fuel the wider sales pipeline. Successful candidates will join a progressive cybersecurity organisation that invests in developing people with the drive, ambition and aptitude to learn.
As an SDR, you’ll receive comprehensive training as part of your induction and begin by supporting the business through structured prospecting and outbound activity.
Your primary focus will be working towards agreed KPIs such as identifying prospective customers, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for the Business Development team.
You’ll use a mix of research, creativity, persistence and great communication skills to engage the right contacts and open conversations across multiple channels.
Your role will not involve direct selling initially. Instead, it is designed to build strong commercial foundations, with clear progression opportunities into more senior sales roles.
What will my responsibilities be?
- Identify and research target companies and contacts that align with our ideal customer profile
- Proactively engage prospective customers to generate and qualify new business opportunities
- Book meetings for the Business Development team with decision-makers and influencers
- Represent the business at a programme of physical and virtual events throughout the year.
- Use a range of channels including ZoomInfo, personalised LinkedIn messaging, email, follow-up calls, alongside face-to-face activity
- Maintain accurate records of activity and outcomes in the CRM
- Work towards agreed KPIs focused on activity levels, lead quality and meeting conversion
This is a progressive role, with structured coaching and mentoring to support development into future sales positions as the business grows. Our last wave of SDRs joined the business in September and will be progressing into more senior roles over the first half of 2026.

Information Security Consultant
Location: Hybrid (Manchester/Remote)
Salary: £30k - £40k (dependent on experience)
The Role
As an Information Security Consultant at Secarma, you will deliver expert advisory services that help clients bolster their cybersecurity posture and meet certification requirements. Internally, you’ll also oversee Secarma’s adherence to ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, IASME Cyber Assurance frameworks, and maintain its CREST membership.Key Responsibilities:Client-Facing Advisory
- Provide consultancy across security governance, risk management, compliance, and security program implementation.
- Conduct gap analyses and readiness assessments for ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, IASME Cyber Assurance, and related standards.
- Help clients design and implement pragmatic security policies, processes, and controls.
- Guide clients through achieving and sustaining certifications, offering audit preparation and post-audit support.
- Represent Secarma in client workshops, webinars, and industry engagements.
Internal Governance & Compliance
- Lead Secarma’s ISO27001 ISMS lifecycle: risk assessments, documentation reviews, continuous improvements, and external audits.
- Coordinate compliance activities for Cyber Essentials and IASME Cyber Assurance.
- Maintain CREST membership, managing renewals, internal alignment, and liaison with CREST representatives.
- Foster a culture of security awareness across Secarma’s operations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep knowledge of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, and IASME Cyber Assurance frameworks.
- Strong audit and documentation skills with the ability to translate requirements into action.
- Strategic understanding of UK cybersecurity certification schemes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Marketing & Content Specialist
Location: Hybrid (Manchester/Remote)
25 hours a week
Salary: £35k - £40k Pro Rata
The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing & Content Specialist to drive our content strategy and support our marketing efforts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on writing compelling content, is highly organised, and enjoys coordinating multiple projects. You’ll be a key part of our marketing team, helping to create high-quality content that engages our audience and supports lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Write engaging and informative content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, website copy, and social media posts.
- Develop and optimise email marketing content to nurture leads and support campaigns.
- Ensure all content aligns with Secarma’s tone of voice and brand guidelines.
Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, ensuring content is delivered on time.
- Work closely with sales and technical teams to translate cybersecurity insights into accessible, engaging materials.
- Manage and update website content to reflect key campaigns and offerings.
Organisation & Coordination
- Maintain a content calendar, ensuring regular and timely publication of materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather information for content pieces.
- Track campaign performance and contribute ideas for content improvements based on data insights.
What We're Looking For
- Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in content marketing.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., email marketing, LinkedIn, SEO tools) is a plus.
- Interest in cybersecurity and technology is beneficial but not essential.

Senior Security Consultant

The Role
As a senior security consultant, you'll be scheduled on customer engagements to perform security assessments. Expect this to cover several of the different types of security tests that we offer.
Essential:
- Previous full-time penetration testing experience.
- Demonstrable technical skills are required to complete the interview process.
- Ability to communicate both technical and business risks clearly and effectively.
Duties will include:
- Delivering penetration testing engagements independently, as well as overseeing complex penetration testing projects.
- Communication with clients before, during, and after the technical testing is complete.
- Mentoring junior penetration testers and assisting them in up-skilling.
- As a senior, we'll schedule you as a QA resource on a round-robin basis.
- For those seeking a pathway to management, you can recruit, train, and manage your own team.
